Day One: MARRAKECH – IMLIL 1700M – TOUBKAL CHALET 3207M
3 Days Toubkal Ascent Trek from Marrakech begins with a scenic drive from the vibrant city of Marrakech to the quaint mountain village of Imlil, the gateway to your trek. Here, you’ll meet your dedicated team of guides and muleteers who will accompany you on this journey. Your first day of trekking kicks off with a steady ascent, weaving through the picturesque village of Around and the revered Marabout Sidi Chamharouch, a spiritual sanctuary for pilgrims seeking healing. After a refreshing pause, you’ll continue southward towards the Toubkal Refuge. Enjoy a leisurely lunch and settle in for the night at the refuge, nestled high at 3207 meters. Expect 4 to 5 hours of invigorating hiking today.
Day Two: TOUBKAL REFUGE 3207M – TOUBKAL SUMMIT 4167M – AROUMD 1940M
Rising with the dawn, you'll embark on the exhilarating climb to the summit of Toubkal, North Africa's tallest peak at 4167 meters. As you ascend, the breathtaking panorama unfolds, showcasing the southern Siroua massif, famed for its saffron cultivation, and the majestic Goun, visible on clear days. From the summit, marvel at the sweeping views of the Haouz plain and the encircling peaks. After basking in the summit’s grandeur, descend back to the refuge for a well-deserved midday meal. The journey continues as you trek down to the charming village of Aroumd, where you’ll spend the night in a cozy lodge. This day’s trek will span 8 to 9 hours.
Day Three: AROUMD VILLAGE 1940M – IMLIL – MARRAKECH
Following a hearty breakfast, you’ll make your way back to Imlil, concluding your trek. A transfer will return you to the lively streets of Marrakech, bringing your high-altitude adventure to a close.
